Antique staffordshire Scotsman lamp. The lamp measures 27 1/2” to the top finial . The shade measures 13” in diameter with a rise of 9”. While the shade appears red in the the photos it is more a shade of coral . The coral rather blends with his boot tops . The figure came to us in lamp form already on his wood base . The figure measures 16 1/2” tall by 8” wide with a depth of 3”. The figure has a few paint flakes from his boots but is solid in structure with no damage to note . We love the sweet little lamb and his feather cap . We date the pottery figure to 1870 legal antique . The black painted wood base measures 8” wide by 6” deep . The lamp has been newly wired with two standard pull chain sockets . The harp is also adjustable should you chose to change the shade. We like the coral shade , you will just have to trust me on that note.
